Who it is for

One shop, one licence, one system

Written from primary sources and checked against them. As of 2026-09-06. How that is done.

Short answer

What does Bloom do for a single location dispensary?

For a single licensed shop, Bloom is the register, the inventory, the delivery dispatch, the screens on the wall and the evidence log, all reading one set of rules that were checked against your state's own statute. The register refuses a sale by naming the rule that refuses it, and every decision keeps the version of the rule that made it, so a sale from three months ago can still be explained.

The day, in the order it happens

Open the till and count in. Receive whatever arrived, package by package, against the manifest that came with it. Sell, with the rules running ahead of the money. Pack the delivery orders, drive them, come back. Count out, reconcile, and let the day's reports queue themselves to the state.

Nothing in that list requires a second person unless a rule in your state says it does. Where one does, Bloom says so before you are committed rather than after, and names the rule.

What is different about the compliance

Most systems hold a number. Bloom holds the rule the number came from, the source it was read out of, and the date it was last read. That is why a refusal can name itself, and why the same records that gate your register also render the public state pages anyone can check.

What it does not do yet

Bloom is not yet a validated track and trace integrator in any state, so reports are generated and queued rather than posted to a live regulator system. Payments are cash and a bank transfer adapter; card is not offered because the networks still do not accept adult use cannabis.

Questions people ask next

Do I need a compliance officer to run Bloom?
No. The rules are in the software rather than in a binder, and when a sale is refused the screen names the rule that refused it. What a compliance officer would otherwise do by hand, checking that the rule being applied is the current one, is what the corpus does continuously.
How long does it take to move off my current system?
The work is inventory and customers, not the software. Packages can be imported from your state track and trace records, which are the authoritative copy anyway, and a menu import takes a CSV. The realistic constraint is doing it between close and open rather than the import itself.
What happens if the internet goes down mid shift?
The register keeps the current rule pack and tax table cached and signed, queues sales locally, and drains them when the connection returns. A sale the cached rules would have refused stays refused, because a cache must not become a way around the rules.
Can my budtenders see everything?
No. Roles scope what each person can reach, and a sale is attributed to the employee who rang it through a PIN at the till rather than to whoever left the browser open.
What does it cost?
$299 per location per month with everything included, and $500 once for a full day of setup on site. The demo is free and needs no account.
